MET Romania, part of Swiss-based company MET Group, marks 15 years of continuous activity on the Romanian market. Throughout this period, the company has stood out as one of the leading providers of integrated energy services, diversifying its range of services to cover as many customer needs as possible: supply, consultancy, complex services dedicated to renewable energy producers, customer consumption balancing and, in the near future, renewable energy production.

Founded in 2009, the company started its activity in the gas trading market a year later. In 2011, the MET Romania brand took shape and strengthened its own identity on the energy market. In 2014, it expanded its activity in the electricity segment, the diversification of the company's activity being one of its fundamental business objectives. Two strategic actions have contributed to the further development of the company: the merger with Repower Furnizare Romania in 2017 and the acquisition of RWE Energie in 2018.
